Subaru’s range of industrial generators are said to be loaded with professional-grade features, top-of-the-line engines, and the power and ability to handle the needs of homeowners, professional contractors and rental centres.

Powered by a 2.4hp EH09-2 OHV Subaru engine and delivering an output of up to 1,100W, the R1100 unit offers a 1.1gallon capacity fuel tank and more than four hours of continuous run time at the rated load. An innovative one-touch control system allows all engine functions to be controlled with a turn of a dial.

Automated Voltage Regulation (AVR) technology on the R1100 is said to allow finer voltage control for steady output and less fluctuation.

The largest of the Subaru industrial generator series, the RGX4800, is powered by a 9hp EX27 engine and provides a maximum output of 4,800W.

Featuring a run time of 6 hours at the rated load, the model incorporates an automatic idler control, a full power switch, and twist lock receptacles. The 4800 is also offered in an electric start configuration.

Smaller construction equipment offers versatile options, particularly on highway repair and maintenance projects. Patrick Smith reports. Visitors to any highway construction site across the world will see a sizeable amount of utility equipment in action carrying out a variety of tasks. Indeed, because of its smaller, more compact size, such multi-task equipment is essential when repair and maintenance projects are being carried out, particularly in urban areas where space may be limited.
