Developed in response to customer requirements for yet more compact materials handling solutions, the MT420H combines a 4.28m lift height with a load capacity of 2tonnes. It uses the full-size cab from the larger MT625 complete with JSM single-lever controller, but is mounted on a chassis that measures 1.49m wide, 3.67m long and 1.9m high.

Equipped with four-wheel drive and four-wheel steer, the turning radius for the MT420H is said to be 2.95m. Machine availability is from the beginning of 2017, said Kevin Arnou, product manager for the MT range.

Manitou intends to offer the MT420H with its own attachment carriage, while a skid steer loader carriage will be available as an option.
