The advanced telematics system offers the ability for improved performance and accurate monitoring, and by plugging into the machine's own diagnostic system, JCB LiveLink provides a wealth of machine information, including hours worked, temperatures and pressures. One of the major benefits is the ability to better protect machines against theft.

The LiveLink system is already available as a retro-fit through JCB's dealer network or as a factory-fitted option across JCB's construction range beginning with heavyline excavators and extending to backhoe loaders, Loadall telescopic handlers, Teletruks, mini and midi excavators, RTFLs, wheeled loading
shovels and ADTs.

JCB CEO Matthew Taylor said: "JCB LiveLink provides our customers with an extremely high-tech system which will help them run their businesses more efficiently and profitably by improving productivity and also by enhancing servicing."
