705 Engcon, celebrating its 25th birthday at INTERMAT 2015, has been highlighting its new Generation 2 tiltrotators, including the new EC214.

The EC214 is the fifth model in Generation 2, the others being the EC206, EC209, EC219 and EC226, and it is for use on excavators weighing between 9-14 tonnes. The company says that Generation 2 tiltrotators now cover the entire range of excavators from 3.5-26 tonnes, and are also used on backhoe loaders.

The tilting potential on the EC214 has been increased to 45°; there is space for machine control sensors and integrated lubrication channels, all connected to a single lubrication point, and it is possible to adjust the lateral play on the new tiltrotator without dismantling it, making service and maintenance easier.
