A new app available from 176 Case Construction Equipment is said to allow fleet managers deployment, maintenance and security information to be delivered to their tablet device. This sophisticated tool helps contractors make decisions based on information from the field. The SiteWatch app is designed for the iPad and is said to increase working efficiency, providing in-depth performance, productivity and maintenance data. The tool can delier actionable information to help manage fleet maintenance, optimise machine performance/utilisation, lower fuel consumption and idle time, and lower total operating costs. Among its features, the SiteWatch app provides the ability to review fleet details and locate machinery, review and create geofences and check utilisation and working status duration. It can also help, review the status of alarms received within a selected time period, analyse fuel consumption and monitor machine health through the report of key parameters set within the Web application. SiteWatch has an onboard communication device that monitors the machine’s CAN-bus network and transmits data to a designated user’s Web portal. The SiteWatch iPad app is available through the Apple iTunes store.
