Two important new road projects are being planned in Nigeria’s Oyo State. One of the projects is for the Ibadan Circular Ring Road. The other is for the 50km road that will link Iseyin with Ogbomoso.

Funding is being sought to pay for the two road projects. The necessary financing is being secured from a number of sources by the Oyo State Executive Council (SEC).

In excess of US$275 million will be required to pay for these road works, as well as works to improve other transport infrastructure such as Ibadan Airport and Ibadan Dry Port.
