Thailand plans PPP projects

The Thailand Government aims to review plans for a series of PPP infrastructure projects in the first half of 2016. Should the projects get the go ahead, bidding processes would then commence in the second half of 2016. The planned PPP projects include the construction of two major highways. The highways are planned to connect Nonthaburi's Bang Yai district with Kanchanaburi as well as Ayutthaya's Bang Pa-in district with Nakhon Ratchasima.

  • New Vietnam link road gets go ahead

    A key link road in Vietnam has been given the go ahead. The plan is for a new road to run from the Noi Bai - Lao Cai Highway to Sapa District. The construction project has been authorised by the People's Committee of Lao Cai Province in Vietnam. The 27km link road will be challenging to construct however as it will run through some of the country’s mountainous areas. This will be for the second Bicentario Bridge, as well as a number of connecting roads that will link San Pedro de la Paz and Concepcion in Biobio.
