Tanzania’s capital seeing road upgrade

A key road upgrade in Tanzania’s capital, Dar es Salaam, is intended to cut peak time congestion. The 4.3km road section of Bagamoyo Road from Morocco Juntion to Mwenge Junction will be widened to a four lane dual carriageway. The project is being part funded by the Japanese Government, which has contributed US$34.3 million for the work.

This will help pay for the construction of a ring road featuring two lanes in either direction around Dodoma City.
