Swiss cantons Lucerna, Vaud e Neuchâtel have plans to spend €1.86 billion developing the local road network. The budget and the programme of works have yet to be fully approved. Meanwhile the Swiss Government has plans to spend €11.5 billion on developing the road network across the country by 2030. This will form the basis of Switzerland’s strategic national road improvement programme.
