The delay has been caused by a landslide near the tunnel that is being planned through the Čebrať hills above Ružomberok. Because of continuing geological concern, the National Highway Company 5891 NDS had rerouted the road and the tunnel must now by 3.6km long, instead of only 2km, according to media reports.
