The Singapore Government is planning to spend US$72.3 billion (S$100 billion) on transport projects over the next decade. The Singapore Government is budgeting $5.2 billion to improve its existing road network. Works will include carrying out maintenance of elevated road sections as well as resurfacing highways.
However, the biggest slice of the spending, $63.25 billion, will be for rail link developments. Other transport projects being planned for the coming decade include active mobility plans and spending for trials of autonomous vehicles.
