Siberian road development projects planned

A series of road development projects will be carried out in Siberia’s Irktusk Region. The programme of works will be carried out during the 2019-2024 period. Repairs will be carried out to 350km of roads while 200km of new roads will be constructed during the entire programme. In 2019 alone, the plan calls for 140km of roads to be rebuilt.

    A new transport plan for Colombia’s capital, Bogota, is intended to cut congestion. The plans are being drawn up by Bogota council's Urban Development Institute (IDU).     India is setting out plans for major road development works in the 2018-2019 period. Highway building projects worth a total of US$9.25 billion are being planned. The work is being planned by India’s National Highways Authority (NHAI). Some 10,000km of national highways will be built in the time period.
