Delays will hit Serbia’s Corridor 10 motorway project that was due for completion later this year. Serbia’s Minister of Construction, Zorana Mihajlovic, said that her department will soon publish as report on the delays, suggesting options for speeding up the work.

She said that around 80km of motorway – of which 50km will be on Corridor 11 - will be finished by the end of the year.

Earlier this year, the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) said it is supplying a funding package for the Corridor 10 road project worth €35 million.

Greek contractor Actor is building an 18km stretch of Corridor 10 that runs from Surcin to Obrenovac part. This firm is also building a 19.5km section of Corridor 10 from the Ostruznica Bridge that spans the Sava River to Bubanj Potok and a further 10km section leading to Bubanj Potok.
