Russia has set a massive budget for road development in 2020. Around 25% of the funds allocated for road works in 2020 have already been spent.

Russia’s Ministry of Transport has commented that the budget for road improvements in 2020 is around 11% higher than for 2019. However, the Ministry of Transport is amending its road development plans so as to optimise the value for money.

More than $72 billion will be spent on the safe roads budget by 2024.
