Strong sales are expected at the Ritchie Bros unreserved auction in Romania. In excess of 700 items of heavy equipment or trucks are being put up the sale. Strong sales are expected at the 8031 Ritchie Bros unreserved auction in Romania. In excess of 700 items of heavy equipment or trucks are being put up the sale. The auction event will be carried out close to Cluj-Napoca on September 9th and the items on sale include a large quantity of dump trucks, wheeled loaders, bulldozers, compactors and graders. This event will be the company’s first-ever auction in Romania. The items are being sold on behalf of a large contractor and all units on sale will be sold to the highest bidder, regardless of price and without minimum bids or reserve prices. Bids in the auction can be made in person at the auction site, live online and by placing proxy bids.

Auction highlights are said to include: a 2009 167 Benninghoven BA5000U 400tonnes/hour stationary counter flow asphalt plant; 11 dozers, including two 2300 Komatsu D37PX-21s, a Caterpillar D9T, a 178 Caterpillar D9R and seven Caterpillar D8Rs; 12 articulated dump trucks, including two 1222 Terex TA27s and two Caterpillar 725s; Six graders, including four 2394 Volvo G990s; 28 compactors, including three 4018 Caterpillar Paving CS583E’s, five Caterpillar CS583Ds and two 228 Hamm 3516 HTs. The site is located at Autostrada A3 Transilvania, exit KM 38, roughly a 30-minute drive south of Cluj-Napoca.
