Ho Chi Minh City, capital of Vietnam, is seeking approval from the central government for a public-private partnership format for the Moc Bai Expressway contract.

Total cost of the Ho Chi Minh City-Moc Bai Expressway project is expected to be around US$835 million, according to a report in the Saigon Times newspaper. The expressway's first phase will begin at the intersection with Beltway No. 3 in the city’s Cu Chi District and end at the intersection of National Highway 22 within the Ben Cau District in Tay Ninh Province.
