Power China wins more Belgrade ring road work

Serbia has signed a deal with Power China to construct the Ostruznica-Bubanj Potok section of the capital Belgrade’s ring road.

Serbia has signed a deal with Power China to construct the Ostruznica-Bubanj Potok section of the capital Belgrade’s ring road.


The next tender for ring road construction will be the 31km Bubanj Potok-Vinca-Pancevo section.

Serbia’s ministry of construction estimates that the value of Chinese contracts in the country is just over €2 billion, but that could rise to around €6 billion with help from the 3422 Chinese Exim Bank.

    The Polish authorities are calling tenders for eight sections of a delayed stretch of the A1 highway. The 180km section is between Strykow to Pyrzowice and the tenders will be for design and construction work.     Bosnia’s autonomous Republika Srpska has picked China Shandong International and Technical Cooperation to construct and operate the Banja Luka-Prijedor motorway. Talks with China Shandong start this month for the 25-30 year concession for the 42km motorway.
