Polish road building programme in hand

Poland’s road authority GDDKiA has signed 13 road deals and has secured European financing worth a combined total of €1.91 billion. These works are being carried out from 2014-20. The available EU finance in the current perspective allocated to GDDKiA's projects stands at close to €10 billion. Poland’s road investment programme for 2014-23 includes building at least 3,900km of roads and 57km of ring roads.

    Road construction projects worth around US$335 million (ETB 6.5 billion) combined have been awarded by the Ethiopian Roads Authority (ERA) to three Chinese companies, as part of the fourth Road Sector Development Programme.   • Metrostav and Budimex among bidders for Poland’s S7 section

    Poland’s highways directorate, GDDKiA, says 12 bids have been received for construction of the second section of the S7 dual carriageway. The 15km section will run from the Lesznowola junction to the Tarczyn Polnoc junction. Metrostav submitted the highest offer at €118 million, while the cheapest offer came from a consortium of Porr Polska Infrastructure and Porr Bau.
