Poland: GDDKiA calls two S3 dual carriageway construction tenders

Poland’s road authority GDDKiA is going out to tender for construction of a 16km section of the S3 dual carriageway stretching between Bolkow and Kamienna Gora.

RSSPoland’s road authority 1361 GDDKiA is going out to tender for construction of a 16km section of the S3 dual carriageway stretching between Bolkow and Kamienna Gora.


Interested parties must submit their offers by the end of July 2017, with the completion of the investment expected to take 50 months.

The GDDKiA is also tendering for construction of another S3 section, around 15km from Kamienna Gora to Lubawka. The winner of the tender will be given 37 months to complete the task.

Two years ago, the goup Przedsiebiorstwo Uslug Technicznych Intercor was awarded a contract to build an 11.6km section of the S3 from Przeszkody to Paszkow at a cost of around €106 million. The S3 will run from Świnoujście on the Baltic Sea through Szczecin, Gorzów Wielkopolski, Zielona Góra and Legnica to the border with the Czech Republic, where it will connect to the D11 motorway.

    Poland’s highways directorate, GDDKiA, says 12 bids have been received for construction of the second section of the S7 dual carriageway. The 15km section will run from the Lesznowola junction to the Tarczyn Polnoc junction. Metrostav submitted the highest offer at €118 million, while the cheapest offer came from a consortium of Porr Polska Infrastructure and Porr Bau.
