Peru plan for transport upgrades

Peru has set a transport budget for 2019 that focuses on key projects. The country’s Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) is setting close to half of its US$3.74 billion budget for 2019 to upgrading the highway connecting Huánuco with Conococha as well as developing the Lima Metro system. Other projects being prioritised in Peru include building the Bellavista to Mazan road and improving the road connecting Checca with Mazocruz. Peru has set a transport budget for 2019 that focuses on key projects. The country’s Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) is setting close to half of its US$3.74 billion budget for 2019 to upgrading the highway connecting Huánuco with Conococha as well as developing the Lima Metro system.     The first agreements for Amsterdam’s proposed underground highway have now been reached. These have been made by the Dutch Minister for the Environment and Transport as well as Amsterdam local authority and the province of North-Holland. The new plan will run from 2016-2021 and has been established by the Transport Ministry. In all the country intends to spend close to US$90 billion developing transportation.
