Moscow-Kazan highway project commencing in 2020

Construction work for the new highway route connecting Russia’s capital Moscow with the city of Kazan is planned to start in 2020.

Construction work for the new highway route connecting Russia’s capital Moscow with the city of Kazan is planned to start in 2020. The new M-12 highway will be tolled. The financing structure for the project is now being secured. Building this highway is expected to cost up to US$11 billion while the work should be complete by 2027.
