New highway upgrade work will be carried out in Morocco during 2022. A budget of US$154.1 million has been set by Autoroutes du Maroc (ADM) for the work.

Key projects will include adding a third lane in both directions to the motorway that links Casablanca and Berrechid. Work will also be carried out on the motorway stretch between Berrechid and Tit Mellil.

An increase in vehicle traffic of 2% is expected during 2022 for the tolled routes ADM operates. This should deliver a projected toll revenue of $352.2 million.
