Mexico highway concession open for bids

A series of highway works are now open for bids in Mexico.

Mexico has opened a key highway concession for bidding. The concession package includes five highways as well as a bridge.

The concession is being offered under the PPP model. The highways and bridge are located in South East Mexico, in Campeche State, Chiapa State, Tabasco State and Veracruz State.

In all the package is worth close to US$744 million. The Mexican Government intends to award the package on 24th September 2020, with construction work due to commence on 1st December 2020.
