Metrostav and Budimex among bidders for Poland’s S7 section

Poland’s highways directorate, GDDKiA, says 12 bids have been received for construction of the second section of the S7 dual carriageway. The 15km section will run from the Lesznowola junction to the Tarczyn Polnoc junction. Metrostav submitted the highest offer at €118 million, while the cheapest offer came from a consortium of Porr Polska Infrastructure and Porr Bau. Other bidders include others, Budimex, Intercor and Polaqua.

Poland’s highways directorate, 1361 GDDKiA, says 12 bids have been received for construction of the second section of the S7 dual carriageway. The 15km section will run from the Lesznowola junction to the Tarczyn Polnoc junction.


Metrostav submitted the highest offer at €118 million, while the cheapest offer came from a consortium of 3976 Porr Polska Infrastructure and Porr Bau. Other bidders include others, 3302 Budimex, Intercor and 8002 Polaqua.

Meanwhile, the city of Katowice is going to invest upwards of €133 million to rebuild two main intersections. A further €107 million from the European Union’s Environment Operational Programme will go towards the projects.

The Wezel Giszowiecki intersection will be finished by 2020 and expansion of the DK 81 road section including construction of a two-level collision-free junction should be open sometime in 2019.
