India’s Maharashtra State is setting out a massive programme for infrastructure development. In all some US$47.08 billion of infrastructure works will be carried out. Transport development is a key priority, with a series of major highway construction projects now being planned.

In all US$3.15 billion is being spent on road development. So far 35,000km of road projects are underway in Guizhou Province with nearly 9,400km of road jobs already having been completed.
