India’s Maharashtra State is setting out a massive programme for infrastructure development. In all some US$47.08 billion of infrastructure works will be carried out. Transport development is a key priority, with a series of major highway construction projects now being planned.

The country’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has set out a programme of works that will run until 2020.
