India’s Maharashtra State is setting out a massive programme for infrastructure development. In all some US$47.08 billion of infrastructure works will be carried out. Transport development is a key priority, with a series of major highway construction projects now being planned.

    India's Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) has approved four road projects worth a combined US$850.75 million (INR 46.20bn) in Assam and Madhya Pradesh.
