India highway projects being taken over

A Canadian firm is taking over three highways in India from Essel Highways. The US$472.8 million deal is for the the Essel Devanahalli Tollway in Karnataka state, the Lebad-Jaora highway in Madhya Pradesh and Essel Dichpally Tollway in Telangana. The Canadian company is Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ)

    The Société Lyonnaise de Travaux Publics in France has completed the ongoing purchase of eight Hitachi medium excavators and one mini excavator. Machines bought by the Lyon-based demolition and earthmoving company are five ZX350LCN-6s, two ZX300LCN-6s, a ZX135US-6 and a ZX55U-5.
