Ghana road improvements being planned

A series of road upgrades and safety improvements will be introduced across the network in Ghana. In all US$154 million will be provided in a loan from the World Bank Group's International Development Association (IDA) for a series of road projects. The IDA loan has a 20-year repayment period. The improvement programme calls for improvements and upgrades to 370km of roads in the north of Ghana. A series of road upgrades and safety improvements will be introduced across the network in Ghana. In all US$154 million will be provided in a loan from the 2332 World Bank Group's International Development Association (IDA) for a series of road projects. The IDA loan has a 20-year repayment period. The improvement programme calls for improvements and upgrades to 370km of roads in the north of Ghana.     Funding is being provided for our projects that form part of Colombia’s 4G road development programme. The Inter-American Development Bank Group’s private sector subsidiary, IDB Invest, is supplying close to US$207 million for the four road projects to the development firms handling the works. IDB Invest is in turn borrowing the sum from Colombia’s national development bank Financiera de Desarrollo Nacional (FDN).
