Major road improvements are required for El Salvador.
El Salvador is in desperate need of road upgrade works to help tackle infrastructure that has deteriorated and to boost transport.
The El Salvador Government has been holding talks with the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) with regard to supplying the necessary funding. A package of loans worth a total of US$500 million is required for the necessary maintenance and road improvement works needed to the network.
