DEVELON is developing new facilities to boost its presence in Germany, Austria and Switzerland

By building new facilities in Germany, DEVELON Europe, formerly Doosan Construction Equipment, is aiming to boost its presence in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The new customer and training centre is being built for German-speaking countries and includes a demonstration area for testing machines. The facility is being built on a 10,650m² site in Mannheim and should be ready for the third quarter of 2024.

Operations at a transitional location were started in March 2023 so that Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate and Hesse can be supplied with spare parts and service support. A new rental fleet is available to bridge order peaks or to be able to test a product over a longer period.

DEVELON plans to create over 40 new regional jobs at the new location. An independent company, HD Hyundai Infracore Deutschland, has been formed to ensure the best possible framework conditions. This is another sign of DEVELON's long-term commitment to Germany as a business location. It underpins its ambitions to significantly expand its presence and market position in the German-speaking market.
