Brazilian road works package for highways

A series of highway improvement works will be carried out in Brazil. The US$521.2 million budget will help to develop transport links in the country. The budget for the work has been set by the Brazilian Government. The various highway works will be targeted on key highway routes that carry heavy truck traffic.

    Russia is setting out plans for development of its transport network, with road construction and maintenance amongst the areas being prioritised. The new plan will run from 2016-2021 and has been established by the Transport Ministry. In all the country intends to spend close to US$90 billion developing transportation.     In Romania the northern section of the bypass around the city of Constanta is open to traffic. The bypass forms part of the Pan-European Road Corridor IV and work on this section was financed by the European Bank for reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
