Brazilian road works package for highways

A series of highway improvement works will be carried out in Brazil. The US$521.2 million budget will help to develop transport links in the country. The budget for the work has been set by the Brazilian Government. The various highway works will be targeted on key highway routes that carry heavy truck traffic.

These include roads linking the capital, San Jose, with Cartago, Limon, San Ramon and San Carlos. Some US$350 million will be used to carry out the road projects. In all the Costa Rican Government has set a budget of $4.6 billion for infrastructure works. Of this $20 million is being directed towards work on the San Carlos road
