Australia road contract awarded to South Korean firm
The 13km M4-M5 Link in Sydney, Australia is to be constructed by the South Korean contractor, Samsung C&T. The project is worth US$788.5 million. The new link will be constructed as an underpass and is due for completion in mid-2023.

India’s Eastern Peripheral Expressway project is now moving forward - Partha Pratim Basistha reports. Work on the 12- year pending, National, Eastern Peripheral Expressway-2, surrounding India’s National Capital, Delhi and its National Capital Region (NCR) has finally commenced. In Israel a specialist contractor is using a new Hitachi excavator for major earthmoving work on the Road 65 construction project in the north of the country. Hilkiyahu’s ZX670LCH-5 has already clocked over 1,100 working hours, excavating and loading 1.5million m³ of materials on the upgraded route.
