Australia road contract awarded to South Korean firm
The 13km M4-M5 Link in Sydney, Australia is to be constructed by the South Korean contractor, Samsung C&T. The project is worth US$788.5 million. The new link will be constructed as an underpass and is due for completion in mid-2023.

The Pacific Complete consortium is the preferred Delivery Partner for the NSW Government’s Woolgoolga to Ballina Pacific Highway upgrade in Australia.
The Pacific Complete consortium comprises Laing O’Rourke and Parsons Brinckerhoff. The A$4.3 billion highway upgrade is Australia’s largest regional infrastructure project. In Russia the construction firms Hanty-Mansiyskdorstroy and Volgomost are working on contracts to rebuild the important M5 highway. This route lies motorway in the Republic of Bashkortostan (Volga) and is managed by Samara-Ufa-Chelyabinsk. Hanty-Mansiyskdorstroy’s contract is to rebuild a 15km stretch of the highway and is worth US$128.16 million, with the work due for completion by October 2016.
