Deutz's high engine output

Deutz's TCD3.6L4 diesel engine claims high output, low fuel consumption and low noise and exhaust emissions. According to Deutz, the four-cylinder engine sets a new benchmark in its class in terms of torque curve and compact dimensions and also features smooth running characteristics. The engine has sophisticated injection technology and exhaust after-treatment and delivers a torque curve that peaks at 460Nm at a speed of 2,300-2,600rpm over its entire power output range of 50-95kW.

201 Deutz's TCD3.6L4 diesel engine claims high output, low fuel consumption and low noise and exhaust emissions.

The state-of-the-art common-rail injection system, front gear drive and optional balancer shafts ensure low noise emissions, minimal vibration and smooth running characteristics under all operating conditions.

"The engine suits installations in compact wheel loaders, telescopic forklifts and other medium-duty construction vehicles, and can also be used to replace 4-4.5litre diesels with power outputs of up to 95kW," says Deutz.

  • High performance, high mobility of wheeled pavers
    February 14, 2012
New generation wheeled pavers aimed at use in territories such as the UK, Italy, South Africa and Southern Germany are now coming to market. Pavers in these countries are often expected to be driven from one part of a site to another or for short distances, which is why the additional mobility of the wheeled machine is preferred in many instances over similarly-sized tracked models. This preference for wheeled units comes in spite of the greater stability offered by tracked machines. BOMAG, Caterpillar and
