Polish parts producing plant purchase for LiuGong

Chinese equipment firm LiuGong is adding to its portfolio with the planned acquisition of a transmissions operation in Poland. The ZZN Transmission Plant in Stalowa Wola lies next door to LiuGong’s existing facility that makes the Dressta range of bulldozers. Parts from the ZZN facility are used in many of the Dressta bulldozers and the acquisition is a strategic move that will strengthen LiuGong’s presence in Europe through the LiuGong Poland subsidiary, as well as its component manufacturing capabilities.

Chinese equipment firm 269 LiuGong is adding to its portfolio with the planned acquisition of a transmissions operation in Poland. The ZZN Transmission Plant in Stalowa Wola lies next door to LiuGong’s existing facility that makes the 3420 Dressta range of bulldozers. Parts from the ZZN facility are used in many of the Dressta bulldozers and the acquisition is a strategic move that will strengthen LiuGong’s presence in Europe through the LiuGong Poland subsidiary, as well as its component manufacturing capabilities.

A signing ceremony for the conditional acquisition agreement has already been held, which was attended by Wu Yindeng, president assistant, board director and deputy general manager of LiuGong Poland, signed the agreement with ZZN asset trustee Adam Jozef Pilicki.

The ZZN factory is adjacent to LiuGong Poland’s plant and has been supplying key parts such as axles and gears for the Dressat bulldozers, pipe-layers and loaders for many years.  ZZN is a major transmission parts supplier for many well-known international companies.
