The company started in business building engines 81 years ago and this milestone was celebrated with a ceremony, attended by 70 employees. The 20,000,000th engine was a 1206 two-stage turbo Tier 4 diesel engine, built at its factory at Peterborough in the UK. Of the 20,000,000 engines the firm has built, at least 4.5 million are still in use.
