JCB’s new six-cylinder Dieselmax engine (VIDEO)

The result of a £45 million investment by JCB was unveiled during the firm’s recent International Press Launch of its new machine range for 2013 held at JCB World HQ in Staffordshire, central England.

  • New engines at heart of JCB’s upgraded rough terrain forklifts

    JCB is now fitting its new Tier 4 JCB Ecomax diesel engine to its latest rough terrain forklift range. The engine delivers the same 55kW output as the previous Dieselmax motor, but meets the Tier 4 emissions regulations without the need for a diesel particulate filter or an SCR exhaust after-treatment system. This reduces running costs for customers and the Ecomax engine is being fitted to all four models in JCB’s RTFL range: the 926, 930, 940 and 950.

    JCB chairman Lord Bamford will officially take his seat in the House of Lords on November 7th, the company has announced. Sir Anthony Bamford was made a Life Peer in August 2013 and will now be known as Lord Bamford after taking the formal title of Baron Bamford of Daylesford in the County of Gloucestershire and of Wootton in the County of Staffordshire.
