XCMG expands range with new mobile crusher

XCMG is expanding its range of machines for the quarrying and recycling markets with the addition of a new mobile crusher to the line-up.

XCMG is expanding its range of machines for the quarrying and recycling markets with the addition of a new mobile crusher to the line-up. The XPF1214 model incorporates both crusher and screener on a single chassis. The firm says that the machine can produce up to 400tonnes/hour with certain material types and output sizes.


Power comes from a Scania diesel delivering 371kW and which meets the latest emissions requirements for the Chinese market.

The machine has been designed for versatility and mobility and is said to be quick to commission on-site. In working form it measures 21.7m by 7.6m by 5.2m.

However, when folded up for transport, the machine measures 22m by 3.2m by 3.75m, which is said to boost its mobility.

Mobile crushers are still comparatively new to the Chinese market, which has traditionally relied on static plant for much of its crushing needs. However in recent times mobile crushers have been introduced to China and demand for these machines is now increasing as customers begin to appreciate their additional versatility.

XCMG is intending to benefit from this growth in demand, competing against the imported machines coming from Europe or those built in in China in joint ventures between local firms and European suppliers.
