The Ecomix 40S is a high performance volumetric mixing unit that is available in a range of versions to suit the customer's needs. The skid-mounted or fixed truck-mounting versions are the standard models. A demountable model suitable for use with a hook loader system onto a flat bed truck is offered and featuring collapsible legs, this can be set-up and ready for use within a short space of time after arriving on-site. And Tony Evans, group director at Utranazz said, "We do a roll-on, roll-off version into a tipper truck and we're aiming at fleet owners of tippers wanting to diversify without making major investments. It rolls in and out on a standard tipper body and has an auxiliary engine and diesel tank." Loading the roll-on, roll-off version is said to be easy as the truck driver simply reverses slowly and the legs fold up, allowing the structure to slide inside the tipper body. One option available instead of a discharge auger is a 7m discharge conveyor that can be extended to 9m if required. Evans said, "It has a sophisticated electronic weighing system using loadcells which is also radio remote controlled." The MVBP has two separate compartments for aggregates, a cement hopper, water tank and additive tanks. It is available with capacities of 2-10m3 capacities and can supply concrete in volumes of up to 60m3/hour.
