2396 Montabert is now offering an innovative technology on its new V4500 breaker that offers automatic speed selection. The V4500 hydraulic breaker can be mounted on excavators from 45-80tonnes and is said to offer high productivity, reliability and durability, a high power to weight ratio, easy maintenance, a long life span and a high resale value. Weighing in at 4.5tonnes with top bracket and tool the V4500 works with a maximum input power of 117kW, a hydraulic flow of 380 litres/min and delivers a frequency of 750bpm at an operating pressure of 185bars. The V4500 has overflow protection as standard, a robust, heavy-duty housing and large retainer pins allow the V4500 to work with tool diameters of up to 190mm. The breaker comes with a low noise kit as standard and can also be fitted with a pressurisation circuit for tunnelling or underwater duties.
