1270 Gazprom Neft and the Government of the Omsk Oblast announced a Cooperation Agreement for the supply of bitumen and bitumen-related products in June this year. Gazprom already supplies bitumen to the region, which is in south-western Siberia, but this deal will see the volume and range of materials increase.

Gazprom Neft Bitumen Materials will supply not only materials but expertise too, advising on material selection, mix design and the management of road construction projects. “The Omsk Oblast is one of the key regions for the company’s activities here,” said the company’s CEO Alexander Syukov. “Which is precisely why we offer not just innovative materials, but also specialist support, in this area.”
