CP Ptuj has been using the RM 100GO! impact crusher together with a mesh deck screen and pivoting refeeding belt in one of the company’s quarries near Maribor since 2016.

"The impact crusher now has 1,500 operating hours on the clock," said Martin Turk, managing director of CP Ptuj. This crusher, deck screen and refeeding belt combination crushes extremely abrasive rock from the River Drau to be used as high-quality aggregate in road construction.

Crushing abrasive river rock and then screening the moist material is by no means easy.

"We expected the MSC5700M to have the same quality as the crusher and seeing as the price was okay, we seized the opportunity," said Turk.

"We tried out a few things to begin with,” said Zdenko Kraljevi, machine fleet manager for CP Ptuj. “With the different screen configurations, such as square, long or harp, for example, which RM offers for the RM MSC5700M mobile post-screen, a wide variety of materials – even difficult ones – can be perfectly processed.”

The angle adjustment of the screen box and height adjustment of the discharge belt make screen changing easier, according to Rubble Master. The two RM machines are ideal for processing a broad range of input materials in a variety of places at any time and always produce perfect, high-value aggregate for the multitude of applications.

Rubble Master, based in Linz, Austria, has exports accounting for more than 97% of its business. Core markets are central Europe and North America.
