CASE CONSTRUCTION Equipment introduces three new F Series wheeled loaders to European customers.

The 721F (operating weight 14,929kg), the 821F (17,633kg) and the 921F (19,857kg) are said to offer faster acceleration, reduced cycle times, higher travel speeds and increased productivity, yet boast up to a 10% reduction in fuel consumption.

The F Series loaders are powered by Tier 4 interim diesel engines, with improved programmable power modes.

An optional five-speed transmission further boosts fuel savings, while improvements to the cab environment reduce operator fatigue, increasing productivity.

All three F Series loaders employ 6.7litre Tier 4 interim certified engines using proven selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology to meet emissions regulations.

The 176 Case four-mode programmable power control offering Economy, Standard, Auto and Max settings has been upgraded, providing operators with increased flexibility when matching the engine output for each task.

The optional five-speed transmission with a lock-up torque converter, open differential axles and advanced system programming, contributes to the reduction in fuel consumption.

The 921F takes Case into a new size class with its 3.6m3 standard bucket. With greater tipping load weight and increased bucket breakout force, the 921F has been designed primarily for aggregate stockpiling and high production truck loading duties, but is suitable for a wide range of industry sectors. The standard capacity for the smaller machines is 2.5m3 for the 721F and 3.25m3 for the 821F.

"The award-winning Case Joystick Steering system lets operators move seamlessly between the joystick and the steering wheel for high production operations, while the Case PowerInch feature assists the operator in tight loading areas, regardless of engine speed, providing full power to the loader arms and bucket cylinders," says Case Construction Equipment.

"Case offers a range of attachments for the F Series loaders to broaden their appeal in different market sectors. All three machines can be ordered with a standard Z-bar loader linkage or an XR longreach arm configuration. The 721F can also be configured with XT parallel lift arms for use as a tool carrier. Pallet forks, jib booms, sweepers and a full range of buckets are available, along with weigh loading systems for production applications."

JCB has introduced two additional Stage IIIB-powered wheeled loaders, the 427 and the 437. Replacing the 426 and 436, the loaders use a Cummins QSB engine, which meets the requirements of Stage IIIB without the need for a diesel particulate filter or selective catalytic reduction (SCR). A variable geometry turbocharger improves response, while an optional five-speed powershift transmission with intelligent clutch cut-off system helps to reduce fuel consumption.
