Savvy aggregate industry customers can use 6934 Metso’s three new Life Cycle Services (LCS) packages to reach their lowest sustainable cost structure.

The Equipment Support Service package secures your assets through inspections, extended warranty coverage and inventory and parts planning. The Maintenance Service package sees service experts taking more responsibility for your plant’s reliability, through the development of a comprehensive maintenance strategy. The third, top level package is a comprehensive programme focusing on ensuring that the customer's aggregates process and operations are optimised for the highest, sustainable performance.

A total of 15 packages have already sold to customers in Finland, Sweden, Germany and Australia, including five of the top level package, during the eight-month pilot of Metso LCS.

Toni Laaksonen, vice president sales Metso LCS, said, “Customers like the fact that the packages allow them to know their cost levels, and the access they have to five-year warranty cover on all the major components of the equipment. This means at the end of the contract period the equipment value is secured.”

The Life Cycle Services offering for the aggregates industry is complemented with comprehensive financial options, including a new equipment leasing and rental possibility via selected global partners.

Metso has been successfully supporting the mining sector with the LCS concept over several years, and Laaksonen said that there was a “clear need” to introduce similar service solutions it in the aggregates sector. “Through these services customers can decrease the cost level of their plant and increase its productivity,” he added.

This week, Metso is also showcasing its highly versatile and renewed LT1213S impactor plant with screen, the proven LT96 jaw plant and the PREMIER ES 303 screen.
