NETZSCH Pumps & Systems is offering its new NOTOS multiple screw pump for use in asphalt applications.

Versatile and efficient, this pump is said to reduce energy costs and minimise the cost of ownership for users. The new pumps suit a variety of asphalt applications and are highly versatile, able to cope with duties such as tank to tank transfers. Portable cart mounting is available for operation in multiple locations.

According to NETZSCH, the NOTOS multiple screw pumps are the most efficient screw type units on the market and can make significant energy savings for asphalt applications. The design allows users to lower the tank asphalt temperatures, delivering major cost reductions in energy costs and also minimising life cycle costs. The robust design of the NOTOS units further drives down the overall cost of ownership by reducing maintenance costs compared to gear pumps and sliding vane pumps.

The NOTOS features complete housing jacketing, the innovative NETZSCH high efficiency design, as well as an innovative liner design. With nominal speed operation, the pump requires no gearbox. The NOTOS can operate from 2 to 50,000centistokes. Featuring robust integral screws and quiet operation, the NOTOS comes with a three-year warranty.
