Austrian 'first' for Hazemag

Hazemag has supplied what it claims is the first semi-mobile impact roll crusher plant in Austria to Zementwerk Leube, one of the country's leading companies in the building materials industry. The Hazemag impact roll crusher SB 1515 R with integrated roller screen
229 Hazemag has supplied what it claims is the first semi-mobile impact roll crusher plant in Austria to Zementwerk Leube, one of the country's leading companies in the building materials industry.

The compact, semi-mobile design 600-800tonnes/hour limestone crushing plant includes the integration of a feeder grate as a primary screen.

"Even with high throughput and the large feed size of up to 1.2m the end product had to have a final crush size of 0-250mm with a minimal amount of fines production in the final product," says Hazemag.

The plant utilises a 15m² feed hopper and is fed using front end loaders, and because of the horizontal flow technology neither a bench edge or loading ramp is required for feeding.

According to Hazemag, it is simple to use a front end loader to reposition the plant in less than 30 minutes without any problems or any special pad to set the unit on.

Material is conveyed from the feed hopper via a solid chain conveyor (KF 1200) to the crushing chamber. The roller screen, which has a working width of 1.4m and a gap setting of 110mm, is integrated in the chain conveyor and guarantees a primary screening of up to 120mm. Feed of over 120mm is crushed in the impact roll crusher to a conveyor-sized dimension.

Crushed limestone is then fed to the discharge belt of the crushing plant which transports the material via a downstream mobile conveyor plant to the secondary crushing plant.

Gallagher Aggregates’ Hermitage Quarry, near Maidstone in south-east England, has purchased two MDS trommels from recently appointed distributor Blue Machinery London. The 155tonne M820, is one of the world’s largest tracked mobile trommels. It is joined on site by the smaller 50tonne M515. Both models are fully mobile on crawler undercarriage and feature hydraulic folding stockpiling conveyors for quick set-up once in position. The M515 is producing fines (-120mm), which fall through the initial holes i

The crushing and screening sector has seen a flurry of new model launches in recent months, with a series of new equipment introductions - Mike Woof writes. Crushing and screening systems play a vital role in the overall cost effectiveness of a quarrying operation. Ensuring that a quarry runs efficiently relies heavily on the appropriateness of the entire crushing and screening set-up for the material input, the output grades and the compatibility of each separate unit. Mobility has been a key issue in rece

  • HAZEMAG combines roller screen/feeder breaker
    January 6, 2017
HAZEMAG has realised an intelligent, efficient, compact secondary crushing preparation plant with a minimised overall height for the production of 1,500tonnes/hour of lignite following an order last year from P.T Indonesia Pratama, Indonesia. It was the customer’s wish to get an intelligent crushing solution and a low overall height of the preparation plant. HAZEMAG combined a roller screen with the field-tested feeder breaker HFB 0714, thus offering screening and crushing in one unit, which has dimensions
