Superior will take over CEMCO's 13,000m² manufacturing facility in New Mexico

Belen, New Mexico-based CEMCO is a 60-year-old manufacturing company and originator of the modern Vertical Shaft Impact (VSI) Crusher, which is said to have revolutionised production of high quality road-making material.

Superior said that CEMCO is recognised as a premier designer and manufacturer of VSIs and serves customers in the aggregates, recycling, mining and energy markets worldwide. It adds that, in addition to its crushers, CEMCO is well-known for outstanding customer service, high quality manufacturing, and incredible devotion to its employees.

CEMCO’s original VSI is still in service today in New Mexico.

“We’re honoured that the Hise family has trusted us to carry on an incredible legacy they worked very hard to create,” said Jason Adams, president of Superior Industries. “Our care for employees, customers, and the Belen community will continue to be strong.”

With the addition of the CEMCO’s VSI, a 13,000m² manufacturing facility in New Mexico and dozens of experienced employees, Superior says it is taking another step in its goal of providing more opportunities for dealers and a diverse portfolio of proven products for producers.

The CEMCO VSI crusher has capacity rates of up to 1,500 tonnes per hour and models ranging in power from 55kW to 745kW in single- or dual-drive packages.
