Sandvik’s latest mobile impactor model is being unveiled in China

Sandvik Mobile Crushers & Screens now has a strong presence in China through its new mainland China distributor, Pota Environment (Shanghai).

The firm’s novel QI441 Prisec impactor is said to offer unparalleled control, flexibility and productivity as a primary or secondary crusher for recycling and quarrying customers.

The machine benefits from the patented Prisec crushing chamber, which has been designed by 325 Sandvik to enable the base crusher to be easily switched between primary and secondary mode. This effectively gives the customer two machines from one unit.  The two hydraulically assisted curtains can be readily adjusted to allow the production of a wide range of high-quality product sizes.

The Sandvik QI441 Prisec impactor model also features a direct drive system for optimum fuel economy and low operating costs, a large feed hopper with highly efficient pre-screening, and underpan feeder to protect the main product conveyor from high velocity material from the rotor, and a user-friendly PLC control system and colour screen for ease of operation.

The QI441’s Inlet opening may be raised by remote control to alleviate blockages. The impactor also comes with an overband magnet, pre-screen, natural fines conveyor, ceramic blow bars and remote control as standard. Sandvik says the QI441 also offers low wear, easy maintenance and a low cost/tonne for production.

Sandvik’s new automation and control telematics system, My Fleet, is also being unveiled. Developed initially for the Premium Q range of Sandvik mobile crushers, the new digital solution provides remote access to critical data on location and machine utilisation, enabling operational machine optimisation. It also helps customers plan their service and maintenance schedules and, ultimately, work more efficiently and cost-effectively.

Sandvik My Fleet is offered to customers in two packages - Freemium - a basic package aimed at providing machine location and utilisation; and Premium - providing a wide array of parameters for a more in-depth analysis and monitoring of the equipment. Customers can take one of the packages or opt out of the system.

Both the Freemium and Premium packages are accessible online 24/7, 365 days a year via a customisable user interface within the Sandvik portal, with data being automatically transmitted every 10 minutes.

Sandvik My Fleet is due to be available for Premium Q Range crushers along with Sandvik’s range of mobile screens and scalpers and heavy-duty model range at some stage before the end of 2018.

Pota is also using augmented reality technology to promote the new features on Sandvik Mobile Crushers & Screens’ new QH332 DDHS, with modular double-deck hanging screen.
